Power of Youth Day – Volunteers Week 2022

Today’s Volunteers Week theme is Power of Youth! We want to take today to celebrate and champion the incredible work our Young Ambassadors have done, as well as outline our commitments to youth social action.

Impact of Covid-19 Report

In 2020, we gave our Young Ambassadors the opportunity to share their experiences of the pandemic and how the lockdown impacted their lives, relationships and their mental health. Their voices were shared in this report, which was has since been recognised by local and national organisations.

During this time they also created an amazing #AskTheYAs video series and have continued to share their stories and advice, both with peers and to the wider community.

Restart Youth Report

This report, summarises the work of our ‘Restart Youth!’ project, made possible through funding from The National Lottery Community Fund distributed by Blagrave Trust.

The project was devised and delivered by two of our  young, lived experience leaders from alongside under-represented groups of young people who took part in trusting and transparent conversations about their needs. Our Young Ambassadors also helped shaped our communications and ways of engaging young people to part in this project. All the young people we worked with on this project are a testament to the power of young people’s voices.
