#ReadingYoungPeoplesHub – October Update

During October, there has been some amazing progress, contributions and inspiring visits made towards opening Reading Young People’s Hub so we wanted to share an update with you all!

Young Voices

Throughout the month, we held 3 Young Voices workshops with local interior designer, Dan Smith, exploring what the Hub should look, feel and sound like and what should be within it. The discussions, ideas and work produced by the young people during these workshops will contribute to a ‘Vision Document’ that is currently being created. Here are some photos of their work:

Hub Visit

Some of our Operations Team took a visit to Cambridge to visit one of Centre 33’s Hubs! It was great to see and hear the support they offer to their local young people, how they use the space they have and what we may want to replicate in the Hub in Reading. We especially loved their blackboard and hope this is something that can be replicated in Reading’s Hub.

This visit has given us all so much hope for what Reading Young People’s Hub can achieve and the difference it will make to local young people.

Get Involved

Your support through fundraising allows us to carry on supporting young people’s mental health.
