Young people needed for A Beginner’s Guide to Mindfulness: ACT-BE-ME Study!

We’re pleased to let you know about an opportunity to take part in a guided workbook programme of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in collaboration with Nicola Ferreira, counselling psychologist in training.The ACT-BE-ME study is open to people aged 18 to 25 who meet study criteria to take part.

The programme involves mindfulness practice, getting in touch with personal values, and making a commitment towards personal goals based on these values. The ACT-BE-ME study is open to people aged 18 to 25 who meet study criteria to take part. As part of the programme a dedicated counselling psychologist in training will support you through the 9-week workbook programme.

As a participant you’ll:

  • Receive the free workbook to keep
  • Get weekly supportive email contact with a counselling psychologist in training over 9 weeks
  • Contribute to how the workbook may be made available for young people in the future
