Our Counselling Service Receives BACP Accreditation!

We are delighted to share that our young people’s counselling service is now a British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited Service!

The BACP described our application as exemplary and offered congratulations to all members of the organisation in providing such a high quality service to young people in the area.

What does BACP Service Accreditation mean?

BACP service accreditation demonstrates that we offer an accountable, ethical, professional and responsive service to clients, staff, volunteers and stakeholders.

It also signifies our continued commitment to working to high ethical standards as set out by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

It does not change our counselling offer or how young people can access counselling at No5, but means that “clients can be assured the service they receive is professional, compassionate and ethical”.

You can find out more about what BACP service accreditation is on their website.
