Over 25’s counselling

No5 is a service for children and young people, but we understand that sometimes it is helpful for other people involved with them to get support too.

Young people

No5 provides free, confidential counselling and support to children and young people aged 11-25.

Training

We are constantly developing new training and professional development programs to meet the needs of counsellors wishing to work with young people.

The new General Data Protection Regulations mean that No5 has updated its policies and procedures.

No5 is Reading’s service for children and young people providing free confidential counselling and emotional support to anyone between the ages of 11 and 25.

Over 25’s counselling

Although No5 is a service for children and young people, we understand that sometimes it is helpful for other people involved with them to get support too.

Training for Counsellors

We are constantly developing new training and professional development programs to meet the needs of professionals.

Who we are

No 5 is a community- based organisation offering counselling and support to children, young people and those around them. Our counselling sessions are provided by fully trained volunteer counsellors. We have 30 counsellors offering sessions five days a week. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and backgrounds but all share a commitment to supporting young people.

What we do

We provide tailored counselling sessions to all young people accessing our service with one of our volunteer counsellors. These usually take place on a weekly basis and last 50 minutes, and they will see the same counsellor each week.
